Cylindrical LensPrecision optical compoments
Cylindrical lenses can be used to focus light into a thin line in the applications of scanning, spectroscopy, laser diode, acousto-optic, optical processing, and others. Cylindrical lenses can also be used to expand the output of a laser diode into a symmetrical beam.
Alpha-Optics’ cylindrical lenses are designed to meet the stringent requirements of industry applications. The microlenses are manufactured to minute tolerances to ensure minimum wavefront error and polished to accurate surface finish to minimise scatter and unwanted diffraction.
